I didnt land on the bad foot, I fell forward and tried to catch myself on a table with my hands but the bad foot came down anyway as I fell forward , and sort landing on on the ball of that foot. The fiberglass edge of the cast caused more pain under my toes than the tendon site itself. The pain level seems to be the as before the accident. Im one week post op and while I was at work, I attempted to sit down and the chair slipped and I naturally placed my injured foot down and boy was I in a lot of pain. 6 more wks of nwb. I am 12 days post op and I was getting up from a chair, lost my balance and put my full weight on the injured leg. Since then i have had to put weight on my foot 2x, but only for a brief moment to keep from falling. I am a little overweight and my Dr was worried about how I would handle getting around but I've done great. It is FREE!
